WHAT IS THE KCPAAA?

The Keller Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (KCPAAA) was established June 2008 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which supports the officers and employees of the KPD by raising funds to purchase nonbudgetary items that are needed by Keller’s dedicated officers. Service to our Community and our police department is our primary objective. All members of the Alumni are graduates of the Keller Citizens Police Academy. This 11-week class is held once a year and is free to Keller and Westlake residents and persons working in Keller and Westlake. As of January 1, 2023, we have 49 members. Applications will be accepted December through January; classes begin in February. For more information contact Keller CSO at [email protected].

Keller Citizens Police Academy (KCPA)

The 11-week course is meant to give participants a deeper understanding of our operations and tactics and serves as a pre-requisite for those wanting to join our Volunteers in Police Services unit.  The next class will be in early 2025 from 6-9 p.m. every Thursday. To participate, you must be 21 or older, live or work within the Keller or Westlake city limits, and pass a criminal background check.  To learn more and apply for this year’s course, visit www.cityofkeller.com/CPA.
